Hylink Digital Lands in Los Angeles
Culture Oct 04, 2016
Last week, we formally opened our new office in the heart of Santa Monica. By formally, we mean we did it with a party. The evening included flutes upon flutes of champagne and then several staff members and guests trying their luck at an animated GIF photo booth. Despite some serious failings there ("we won't name names") the evening was bliss and we're here, finally!
We had an amazing and supportive turnout of around 100 guests, including thoughtful ceremony speeches from Trade Commissioner Ms. Lili Zhou, as well as the Mayor of Santa Monica, Mr. Tony Vasquez. Last but not least, Hylink's Managing Director Humphrey Ho was in high spirits, as was our founder, Su Tong, and COO, Xavier Sun, who traveled all the way from Beijing to join the celebration.
Over the past few months, we've been steadily working away on projects and partnerships that we are burning with impatience to disclose! One of the main questions that arose during the opening was the agency's intentions stateside. This was our answer: this office has a dual focus; first, to support the U.S. brands’ advertising efforts in China and second, to direct Hylink’s investment fund in acquiring American film, TV, and digital content for distribution in China. There's a lot in the works, and we're enthusiastic about what's ahead.
Thanks to our favorite go-to photographer, Chris Reynoso, for these gems from the evening:
Our new office is located at 225 Santa Monica Blvd. Stop by and see us; ride the elevator to eight (8)!
